Redesigning Impact: Finance, Health & Inclusive Tech
Join us on our journey to building a more equitable world.

This month, we’re building an impact-driven brand for climate finance, rebranding critical health services with Common Thread, and exploring inclusive tech with Taleemabad. Check out our work on integrated SRH & GBV services with IRC! Let’s dive in! 🚀
🗓️ This Month at Ideate
Branding for Impact: We crafted a bold, impact-driven brand identity and a sleek digital experience for a climate finance initiative, fueling investments toward a greener future across the Middle East. From strategy to visuals, every detail was designed to drive action. Curious about our branding process? Reach out to our Brand and Visual Design Lead at [email protected].
Reimagining Healthcare Access: We’ve kicked off a project with Common Thread to rebrand and reposition critical health services in Pakistan. This initiative will shape how communities engage with essential care, and we can’t wait to share more in the coming months—stay tuned!
Iftar & Ideate Reunions: Ramadan brought the perfect occasion for a team iftar in Karachi, where we reunited with some of our Ideate alumni over great food and even better conversations. A moment to reflect, reconnect, and rewind!
Celebrating Women at Ideate: Women’s Day was all about appreciation! We shared heartfelt notes and gifted our incredible women team members their favorite scented candles—a small token of gratitude for their impact and leadership.
Shaping the Way We Work: Listening to our team is key to growth. After gathering feedback on our quarterly review sessions, we refined and updated our internal processes to make them more effective and meaningful for everyone.
Workshop Alert: 🚀Ideate Innovation is teaming up with Taleemabad and leading experts to explore how AI and low-cost tech can better serve low-literacy users. In an interactive workshop with some of the best tech builders/linguists/educationists out there, we’ll rethink digital interfaces for the next billion users. Read more about the workshop here, and click here to register! 🚀
Here’s to another month of impact, collaboration, and innovation!

🔎 Project Spotlight
Inclusive Research & Design for Better SRH and GBV Support
Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and gender-based violence (GBV) services often exist in isolation—despite being deeply interconnected. Women facing abuse frequently require both medical and psychosocial support, yet siloed services lead to incomplete care, missed opportunities for intervention, and even re-victimization. Partnering with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), we set out to change this by designing a more integrated, user-centered model for SRH and GBV support in Pakistan and South Sudan.
Through immersive research in Swat, Pakistan, and Juba, South Sudan, we listened to the voices of women, healthcare providers, and service experts. Our approach was deeply human-centered: we used storytelling techniques to help women share sensitive experiences in a way that felt safe and comfortable, allowing for honest conversations about barriers to care. These insights informed the design of an integrated SRH and GBV service prototype—tested and refined with real users—to ensure it was responsive to their needs.
The result? A comprehensive set of recommendations that reimagine service delivery from the perspective of those who need it most. By mapping a woman’s journey through the system, we provided clear, actionable strategies for service providers to enhance accessibility, privacy, and trust. This research is a step toward a future where no woman has to navigate these challenges alone. Read the full case here.

🍪 Bite-sized Insights
In our collaboration with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), we employed storytelling as a pivotal research method to address sensitive topics like sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and gender-based violence (GBV). By utilizing illustrated narratives and facilitating discussions around the characters' experiences, participants could explore complex issues while maintaining emotional distance from their own traumatic events. This approach not only fostered a safe environment for open dialogue but also enhanced empathy and uncovered collective experiences that traditional research methods might overlook.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has recognized the transformative power of digital storytelling in supporting migrants and displaced communities. Their research highlights how digital tools can document personal narratives, fostering connection and understanding among marginalized groups. By integrating storytelling into humanitarian programs, organizations can bridge cultural divides and address complex challenges faced by displaced populations.
